Who we are

WantLoom is a private beta service operated by Vitalii Cheporniuk. Contact: hello@wantloom.com.

What we collect

Account: your email, your name and your language. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email address, name and profile picture. If you upload a profile photo, we store it. If you sign in with Google and upload no photo, we show your Google profile picture. We do not receive your Google password and we do not read your Gmail, contacts or any other Google data. We also send one welcome email from the founder after you sign up. You can reply to it. We do not send marketing email.

Your finds: for every product you save, the page address, the name, the price and currency, the stock, the image address, the categories, your comment and tags, and the history of the price and the stock.

Telegram: if you connect the WantLoom bot, your Telegram chat ID and username, and the links you send to the bot.

Feedback: if you write to us through the feedback form, your message, your email, the page you were on, a short description of your browser and a one-way hash of your IP address (to stop spam). We store them in our database and send a copy of the message with your email to the owner by Telegram and by email, so that we can answer you. When you delete your account, we delete the stored messages. The copies already in the owner's Telegram and inbox stay until we delete them; write to hello@wantloom.com to ask.

Technical data: a session cookie and a language cookie, and server logs that contain the request path, the time and technical errors. When you open the extension on a page, send us a link or check the price of a find, the server logs also record the page address, which product fields were read (with the name, the price and the stock), the changes you make to them before you save, the reading errors and your account ID. We use these logs only to find and fix reading problems and keep them for up to 7 days.

Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views on wantloom.com and app.wantloom.com. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites; Cloudflare receives the page address, the address of the previous page, your browser type and page-load timings.

How we use it

We use the data only to run WantLoom: to sign you in, to send you a sign-in code, to read the product pages you ask us to save, to show your finds, to show your public page and to answer you. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not profile you.

What others can see

Every account has a handle and a public page at app.wantloom.com/<handle>. The page shows your profile photo (the one you uploaded, or your Google profile picture if you uploaded none), your name, your handle, your public collections and the products you saved: the name, the image, the price, the stock and the link to the shop. A product is hidden when it is only in private collections. Your comment, your tags, your email and the way you saved a product are never shown to others.

Signed-in users can find your page by your name or your handle. The public page is not indexed by search engines. You can hide a product by putting it only in a private collection, and you can delete your account at any time.

Google user data

We use your Google email, name and picture only to sign you in and to create your account. Your name appears on your public page and in the people search inside WantLoom, as described above. We do not pass your Google data to anyone else, except the service providers below that run WantLoom for us. WantLoom's use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts WantLoom and stores the database (in the EU) and reads product pages with its browser service. Resend sends the sign-in emails and the copies of feedback messages to us. Bright Data may fetch a product page that blocks automatic readers; it receives only the page address. Telegram runs the bot if you use it, and delivers the copies of feedback messages to us. Google runs the Google sign-in if you use it.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account exists. Open your profile and use Delete account to remove your account and your finds. You can also write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or a deletion at any time. Write to hello@wantloom.com.

Cookies

WantLoom uses only the cookies it needs: one keeps you signed in and one remembers your language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy, we change the date at the top of this page.
